  1. Curio - Not sure about the cardio benefits of downhill skiing, but the snowshoeing looks good. Actually it all looks great and as if a good time was had by all. Just DYING for some decent snow up here in NY to get out to enjoy some cross-country skiing! Too bitter cold to ride outdoors yet not enough snow to justify clipping on the skis. For now, looks like I'm stuck on the trainer. Happy 2010!

    You're right, not much cardio in the downhill skiing, but the legs got a workout. As much as we complain about weather at times, we can nearly always ride outside. Skiing is a newer deal for me. Until last year, hadn't skiied in years and years. But now we enter a new year. All is possible. That is, if Mother Nature cooperates. Hope you get your snow!
